Discover the Tour

The Windsor FREE walking tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours and is a gentle stroll around the beautiful Eton and Windsor.

Meeting Place

The tour commences from Windsor and Eton Riverside, making is very handy for any visitors travelling up for London. There is a direct train to London Waterloo that travels through Clapham Junction.

For any drivers, there is parking available around the corner at Home Park, alongside other options provided by the local council.

Windsor and Eton Riverside

Our starting point, introductions and welcome.

Eton High Street

Crossing the historic bridge to the beautiful high street of Eton. Learn about historical development of trade and meet some of the local providers.

Eton College

Walk around the stunning college grounds and learn stories about past students and the present influence of the globally renowned boys public school.

Eton Thames Riverside

Down a few alleys, past a few hidden Jems and sit by the Eton side of the river to take you first breathtaking glance at Windsor Castle, whilst our guide takes you on the historic journey on the castles origins and colorful past.

Windsor Riverside and Alexandra Park

Cross over the historic Windsor and Eton bridge, stroll down the Thames and walk through Alexandra Park.

Royal Windsor Station

Walk around the colorful Royal Station , with its marvelous array of shops, local stands and entertainment.

Windsor High Street

Take a few twists and turns to land on the main high street, feel free to ask you guide about the best places to eat and drink for after your tour.

Windsor Castle

A perfect picture moment outside of the front of Windsor Castle, with some more history and ghastly true royal tales.

Back Alley Pubs

Learn the underground scandals and the role the public house community played to support and protecting the Royal Family.

The Long Walk

The final stretch of the trip, hear about where the Royal Family spend much of their recreational time alongside other amusing stories on the most stunning walk in Windsor.

End at the Brewers!

Finish outside our local favorite traditional English Pub, learn about its secrets and grab a local pint or specialty Gin and Tonic.
